APhA Institute on Alcoholism & Drug Dependencies

May 30 - June 3, 2018
Salt Lake City, Utah

The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) is excited to offer the 4th annual session of the APhA Institute on Alcoholism and Drug Dependencies. We are very excited for all those who are able to join us in Salt Lake City this May/June, on the beautiful University of Utah Campus for 5 days of education, personal development, networking, and an exchange of ideas related to the disease of addiction. We have changed the schedule slightly for 2018 to have an official start time of 6:00pm on the evening of Wednesday, May 30th. Our introduction to the Utah Experience along with our first 12-step meeting will begin that evening. The Institute will run Thursday - Saturday from 8:00am - 6:00pm and end on Sunday, June 3rd at noon.

The APhA Institute hopes to carry the message forward and provide pharmacists, student pharmacists, and the profession with resources, information, and guidance regarding addiction education. It is our hope that the Institute will help you redefine your views on the disease of addiction and serve as a catalyst to help increase the awareness of health and social problems related to alcoholism and other drug dependencies.
