APhA Institute on Substance Use Disorders

APhA Institute on Substance Use Disorders - Salt Lake City, UT

APhA is excited to offer our 9th annual session of the APhA Institute on Substance Use Disorders in Salt Lake City, Utah. The schedule will follow last year’s format with the official start time of 1:00 pm the afternoon of Wednesday, May 28 and the conclusion of the Institute at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 31.

The APhA Institute hopes to carry the message forward and provide pharmacists, student pharmacists, and the profession with resources, information, and guidance regarding addiction education. It is our hope that the Institute will help you redefine your views on the disease of addiction and serve as a catalyst to help increase the awareness of health and social problems related to alcoholism and other drug dependencies. During the Institute, attendees will not only learn about the science and statistics, but they will also discover the personal and emotional effects around substance use disorders.

APhA will not conduct a pre-registration process for student pharmacists. Registration opens on February 3, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis until we reach our meeting room capacity. APhA will not offer a virtual component to the meeting. All APhA Institute sessions will be conducted at the University Guest House and Conference Center on The University of Utah campus.
